Teens Fire Guns Near Bus Stop: Police

Greenbelt Police report that two teenage boys fired guns near a bus stop in town Tuesday afternoon.

GREENBELT, MD — Two teenage boys fired handguns near a bus stop not far from the Greenway Shopping Center Tuesday shortly after 4 p.m., police report.

The incident unfolded near Greenbelt Road, according to Greenbelt Police. Witnesses told officers that one teenage boy opened fire near the bus stop, then another teenage boy fired his gun, police said.

No injuries were reported and the incident is being investigated. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Greenbelt Police at 301-474-7200.
