Temple Hills Man Fatally Shot, $25K Reward Offered For Information
A Temple Hills man has been fatally shot in Oxon Hill. PGPD is offering a $25K reward for information in the case that leads to an arrest.
OXON HILL, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Friday morning in Oxon Hill. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case.
On Dec. 27 around 12:30 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road for a report of a shooting. Once on the scene, they found 29-year-old Harvey Jones Jr. of Temple Hills outside with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect, according to the police department.
