Tow Truck Driver Fatally Struck By Car In Prince George's County
Gilbert Kuncl, 58, of Ellicott City was fatally struck in Langley Park when he was preparing to tow a car, police said.

LANGLEY PARK, MD — Police are investigating a fatal collision that left one man dead in Langley Park Aug. 17.
The victim has been identified as Gilbert Kuncl, 58, of Ellicott City. The preliminary investigation reveals Kuncl was standing next to his tow truck, preparing to tow a vehicle, when he was struck by a passing car in the 8200 block of 15th Avenue, police said.
Kuncl was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the car that struck him was not hurt and remained on the scene, police said.
