USAA’s Heroes Huddle Comes To Landover Before Army-Navy Game
Robert Griffin III will be mentoring military kids during a special camp Wednesday as a precursor to the Army-Navy game.
LANDOVER, MD — NFL Legend Robert Griffin III will meet with and mentor military kids during a special football camp Wednesday.
The Army-Navy game returns to the DMV for only the second time in its 125-year history. Before the Black Knights of West Point and Midshipmen of the Naval Academy face off on the field, USAA (presenting sponsor of the Army-Navy Game), RGIII and the Elizabeth Dole Foundation will bring the game to local kids and caregivers from military and veteran families at USAA’s Heroes Huddle at the Army-Navy Game.
RGIII grew up in a military family and both parents were U.S. Army sergeants. Returning to his roots in Washington, D.C., for USAA’s Heroes Huddle at the Army-Navy Game, RGIII will meet with and mentor participating military kids from the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, many of whom help provide care to a veteran parent or grandparent.
