What's Open, Closed For Veterans Day 2024 In Prince George's County
Here's what's open, closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day 2024.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — In recognition of Veterans Day on Monday, government offices will be closed as will the Prince George's County Memorial Library System, the animal services facility and adoption center, the electronics recycling acceptance site and the household hazardous waste acceptance site.
There won't be any bulky trash collection (white goods/appliances and scrap tires) Monday, which will resume Tuesday. Curbside trash collection in county-contracted areas will take place Tuesday through Friday. Residential food scraps and yard trim collections will take place Monday.

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation, will operate Monday except Route 51X, which operates only in downtown Upper Marlboro during peak periods when the courthouse is open. Regular operations on Route 51X will resume Tuesday. The county’s Call-A-Bus and PGC Link services, including dialysis transportation, will not operate Monday. Regular operations of the Call-A-Bus and PGC Link services will resume Tuesday.
