Woman Fatally Struck By Car In Beltsville: Prince George's Co. Police
A woman on foot died Friday morning when she was struck by a vehicle in the 3600 block of Powder Mill Road in Beltsville, officials said
BELTSVILLE, MD — A female pedestrian died early Friday when she was struck by a vehicle in the 3600 block of Powder Mill Road in Beltsville, officials said. Prince George's County Police have not yet released the woman's name, pending notification of her family.
Police were called to the accident scene about 4:50 a.m., where officers found the victim in the road suffering from trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the driver whose vehicle struck the pedestrian in the eastbound lanes of Powder Mill Road remained on the scene. He was not injured.
