Woman Robbed at Home on Eagles Nest Drive

The victim sustained minor injuries and the thieves made off with her purse, which contained money and personal items.

A woman was robbed in her garage on Eagles Nest Drive in Bowie by two men, who hit her and took her purse, according to a police report.

At approximately 10:26 p.m on March 18, Bowie police officers responded to a reported home invasion on the 2900 block of Eagles Nest Drive.

The victim told police that she pulled into her garage, got out of her vehicle, removed her shoes and was about to enter her home via an access door when she was approached from behind by a man.

The man demanded the victim’s purse. A brief struggle followed, and the victim was struck and her purse was forcibly taken.

Then, a second man entered the victim’s garage and demanded her house keys. She refused, and was struck by the second suspect.

Both suspects then fled the victim’s home in a dark colored sedan in an unknown direction. Police searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects.

The thieves made off with the victim’s black leather purse and its contents, including cash, a social security card, credit cards and a Maryland driver’s license. 

The victim sustained minor bruises as a result of the assault.
