Woman's Death In PG County Ruled A Homicide: Police

Prince George's County Police announced Thursday that a 37-year-old DC woman found dead in Oxon Hill this August was murdered.

OXON HILL, MD — Prince George's County Police announced Thursday that a 37-year-old DC woman found dead in Oxon Hill this August was murdered. The decedent has been identified as Itimia Gray, of E Street Southeast.

Gray was found dead outside of an apartment in the 5100 block of Deal Dr. at about 9:15 a.m. Aug. 15.

An autopsy was conducted and officers were alerted on Oct. 31 that the manner of Gray's death was a gunshot to the upper body.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case, police said.
