2 Teen Boys Found Shot In Columbia Shopping Center Parking Lot

Two teen boys from Elkridge were found with gunshot wounds in a Columbia shopping center parking lot Saturday night, police say.

COLUMBIA, MD — Two teenage boys were shot Saturday night in the parking lot of a shopping center. No suspect has been identified yet by police.

Around 9:10 p.m. Oct. 12, Howard County Police were called to the Columbia Palace, 8808 Centre Park Drive. They found a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, both from Elkridge, with gunshot wounds.

They were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries that weren't life-threatening, according to police.

Howard County Police do not believe this incident is connected to the discovery of a man found dead in his vehicle nearby, the department said.
