Howard County Firefighters Battle Multiple Brush Fires That Damaged Shed, Pool Deck
Firefighters reported multiple brush fires across Howard County Sunday. The fire in Elkridge damaged a shed and pool deck.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Firefighters were called out to battle multiple brush fires Sunday in several locations across the county.
Fires were reported in Glenwood, Elkridge and Woodbine. The fire in Elkridge caused damage to a shed and a pool deck, according to fire officials.
Around 4 p.m., firefighters fought multiple grass fires at Blandair Park in Columbia. No damage to structures or equipment were reported, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. While wind contributed to the spread of the fire, the cause is being investigated by officials.
