COLUMBIA, MD — A man forced his way into an apartment in Columbia and assaulted one of the residents, according to the Howard County Police.The incident happened Dec. 3 around 6:19 p.m. at an apartment located in the 7000 block of Gentle Shade Road. The two residents living in the apartment targeted by the suspect told police a man forced his way into their apartment then assaulted one of them. Nothing was stolen. Police found the suspect and arrested him. Charges are pending, the police department stated.
