Harris Teeter Opening Soon in Ellicott City
The new grocery also is hosting events during the coming weekends.
Ellicott City’s newest grocery is set to open in two weeks.
Harris Teeter at Towne Square in Turf Valley, at 11075 Resort Road, is set to open on April 2 at 5:30 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Interested to know who will be running the new, 48,000-square-foot store? Manager Tanner Ellis and other employees will be on hand to meet customers, according to a statement sent out by Harris Teeter spokesperson Catherine Reuhl Becker.

“An excellent shopping experience starts in the store with customer service, high-quality perishables along with variety and selection,” Becker wrote.
Throughout the weekend, the store will also host activities, including an on-site “Rancher Mobile Grill” April 12 – 14 and an on-site ice cream truck April 19 – 21.

The North Carolina-based grocery chain opened in 1960. The Ellicott City location will be its 8th in the state, offering the usual grocery fare as well as fresh flowers and floral arrangements; farmers market produce; sushi; prepared meals and more.
