According to police, Charles Turner, of the 8800 block of Bosley Road, was last seen by his family at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday

Turner said he would be right back, according to police, but a half hour later, Turner's wife heard from Baltimore County police that a silver 2005 Lexus RX330 was involved in a hit and run collision in Arbutus.

Turner’s wife told police that she checked the garage and the couple’s silver, 2005 Lexus SUV, and the keys, were missing.

Howard County police spokesperson Mary Phelan said police believe it was Turner’s vehicle that was involved in the collision.

Turner is 5-foot-11 inches tall, bald and weighs about 210 lbs. He was last seen wearing a Ravens hat, a black jacket with a strap around the waist, dark blue jeans with a brown belt, a tan pullover sweater with a dark blue shirt underneath and Dexter-style brown shoes. He also wears gold-colored prescription glasses.

Police say that Turner, who has been diagnosed with dementia, requires multiple medications. He does not usually drive at night and, according to police, has no mobile phone.

Police have issued a Silver Alert. Anyone with information about Turner’s whereabouts should call 911.
