2 Suspects Wanted For Stealing Credit Cards Out Of Parked Cars
Police are searching for two suspects wanted for stealing credit cards out of cars parked at gyms in Montgomery County.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Police are searching for two suspects wanted for stealing credit cards out of cars parked at gyms in Montgomery County. The suspects then fraudulently used the cards at stores such as Best Buy, Nordstrom Rack and more.
Police believe the two suspects are responsible for at least seven credit card thefts in Gaithersburg and Wheaton.
The thefts began in the parking lot of the LA Fitness in Gaithersburg at 314 Copley Pl. on January 4.

The following thefts of credit cards from vehicles were reported to the police:
- January 4 – From a vehicle in the parking lot of the LA Fitness in Gaithersburg.
- January 19 – From a vehicle in the parking lot of LA Fitness. The suspects attempted to fraudulently use the victim’s stolen credit cards at the Target store located at 25 Grand Corner Ave. in Gaithersburg.
- January 29 – From a vehicle in the parking lot of Life Time Athletic at 10121 Washingtonian Blvd. in Wheaton. The victim’s stolen cards were fraudulently used at various stores in the Gaithersburg area.
- February 5 – From a vehicle in the parking lot of LA Fitness.
- February 6 – From a vehicle in the parking lot of Life Time Athletic. The victim’s stolen cards were fraudulently used at the Best Buy store at 10901 Georgia Ave. in Wheaton.
- February 13 – From a vehicle in the parking lot of LA Fitness. The victim’s stolen cards were fraudulently used at the Shell gas station located at 10003 Fields Rd. in Gaithersburg and at the Nordstrom Rack store located at 15760 Shady Grove Rd. in Gaithersburg.
- March 3 – From a vehicle in the parking lot of the LA Fitness. The victim’s stolen cards were fraudulently used at the Macy’s store located at 8000 Tysons Corner Center in McLean, Virginia.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify the male suspects who were captured on store surveillance using the victims’ stolen credit cards to purchase items.

Anyone with information about these suspects is asked to call the 6th District Patrol Investigations Unit at 240-773-5700 or call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of this suspect. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
