On The Agenda: Council Opens 2013 With Short Meeting, Executive Session

The Gaithersburg mayor and City Council return to their chambers Monday evening for the first meeting of 2013 and it will be a short one.

Mayor Sidney A. Katz and the Council members will provide short updates for the city, along with City Manager Tony Tomasello and Economic Development Director Tom Lonergan.

Immediately following the meeting, the mayor and Council will meet for a closed executive session to "discuss the establishment and/or expansion of a local business."

City spokeswoman Britta Monaco said she believes "a lengthy executive session is anticipated."
