• Stabbing Under Investigation In Gaithersburg: Police (patch.com) — Gaithersburg residents are being urged to stay alert after police responded Sunday morning to a reported stabbing on the 18200 block of Flower Hill Way, where a man suffered minor injuries. Officers say no suspect is in custody yet, and the investigation into what led to the attack is ongoing.
   

• 18-Year-Old Gaithersburg Homicide Victim's Name Released (patch.com) — Gaithersburg neighbors are learning more about a deadly shooting after police identified 18-year-old resident Taeyon Malachi Prather as the victim found Friday night in a Rolling Fork Way parking lot. His death has been ruled a homicide, and detectives are asking anyone with information to share anonymous tips that could lead to a reward and help solve the case.
