3 Charged With Murder In Game Preserve Road Homicide: Police

Three Gaithersburg residents have been charged with murder in the death of a Gaithersburg man found dead on Game Preserve Road, police said.

GERMANTOWN, MD — Three people have been arrested on murder charges in the death of Delondre Levert Sawyer, 35, of Germantown, whose body was found Feb. 8 in a wooded area on Game Preserve Road, authorities said.

Montgomery County Police said Thursday that first-degree murder charges have been filed against Quinnton Eric Brown, 36; DeAngelo McRoy, 26; and Alicia Carson-Brown, 24, all of Gaithersburg.

On March 5, detectives received an arrest warrant charging Carson-Brown with accessory after the fact, first-degree murder and motor vehicle/unlawful taking. On March 6, additional charges were obtained in a warrant for Carson-Brown to include armed robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. She was arrested in Gaithersburg.

Also on March 6, arrest warrants were issued for Brown and McRoy, both charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Brown was taken into custody in Gaithersburg on March 7, while McRoy, already in custody for an unrelated offense, was served with the arrest warrant on March 19.

All three are being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, police said.
