Pest Truck Crashes Into Germantown Chipotle, 2 Hospitalized

GERMANTOWN, MD — Two people were transported to the hospital after a pest control truck crashed into the front of a Chipotle in Germantown Monday morning, the Montgomery County Fire Department said.

Officials said the two-vehicle crash happened at around 7:35 a.m. at Crystal Rock Drive and Century Boulevard.

The crash involved a truck and another car. Montgomery County Fire & Rescue official Pete Piringer said both drivers were evaluated by medical personnel and two adults were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no patrons inside Chipotle at the time of the crash, Piringer said. A building inspector was requested.
