GIRL POWER Event Returns To Montgomery Co.
The GIRL POWER event will take place on Apr. 30 at Clarksburg High School and will feature ZUMBA, self defense, and other classes.

From MMA Sport: Back for its second year, GIRL POWER is a free event for women sponsored by Yelp, Wegmans, and the Montgomery County Fire Department. At the event, women can participate in some fun fitness demonstrations, win door prizes, shop from 50 local vendors, enjoy mini-massages and mini-facials, and free food!
GIRL POWER organizer Kyle Sefcik, Owner of MMA & Sport in Damascus, said “GIRL POWER is all about empowering women through fitness, self-care, and community. It’s an opportunity to grab a friend, try something new, and maybe walk away feeling stronger and inspired. Besides, it’s a ton of fun and the women have a blast!”
Featured fitness demonstrations at GIRL POWER will include self-defense, Zumba, and Kicktronix. Vendor tables will be open for shopping throughout the event, and include everything from professional services to beauty products to home goods. Many vendors will offer samples, raffles, and hands-on demonstrations. Door prizes will be given out between each demonstration, and have been donated by local restaurants, spas, and shops.
