Girl Reports Kidnapping In Germantown After Fleeing Car: Police
A 13-year-old girl said she was kidnapped by two men Tuesday in Germantown and then escaped her captors' car, Montgomery County Police said.
GERMANTOWN, MD — A 13-year-old girl reported she was kidnapped by two men Tuesday afternoon in Germantown and then escaped her captors' car, Montgomery County Police said.
The girl told police that between 3 and 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday she was approached by two male suspects in a dark gray sedan near the intersection of Waring Station Road and Stoney Bottom Road in Germantown. The suspects got out of the vehicle and forced the girl into the car.
After driving around, the girl was able to get out of the car and run near the 20000 block of Placid Lake Terrace, where she was located by a resident. Montgomery County Fire Rescue took the girl to an area hospital for evaluation.

Anyone with information or who observed anything suspicious in the area where the girl was reported to have been taken or where she was located, is asked to call detectives at 240-773-5400.
