Most Wanted Suspect's Body Found In Frederick Woods: Police

Hunters discovered the body of a teenager who was once on police's most wanted list in the woods in Frederick, police said.

FREDERICK, MD — Maryland State Police are investigating what they call a "suspicious death" after hunters discovered the body of a teenager who was once on police's most wanted list in the woods in Frederick Monday afternoon.

The two hunters found the body lying in a wooded area in the 9300 block of Liberty Rd. at about noon Monday, police said.

The deceased victim has been identified as Gennady Errigo, 19, of Walkersville. Errigo was on the Frederick Police Department's Most Wanted list for first-degree burglary, vehicle theft and theft for incidents on May 21, June 4 and July 2.

Errigo's body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. He was found wearing grey sweatpants, brown boots and a black shirt tied around his waist, police said.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about this case to contact police at the Frederick Barrack at 301-600-4150. The investigation is active and ongoing.
