Paris Baguette Bakery-Cafe Opening Set For Dec. 14 In Germantown

GERMANTOWN, MD — The second Paris Baguette location in Maryland, as well as in Montgomery County, will open Dec. 14.

Brothers John and Michael Canterino are set to open their first bakery café at 21040 Frederick Road, Suite G, in Germantown, according to a news release. Learn more about grand opening events on the cafe's Facebook page. The first 50 guests in line Saturday will receive a free pastry.

The chain's other Montgomery County location is at 101 Gibbs St. in Rockville. Paris Baguette has over 200 bakery cafés open in North America and more in development.

The Canterinos are experienced entrepreneurs with backgrounds in law and business, a news release said, and are excited to bring Paris Baguette to the D.C. metro and Baltimore area. With the first of four locations opening in Germantown, the pair looks forward to expanding Paris Baguette in the region while making a meaningful local impact.

Café hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
