Police: Barricaded Suspect Commits Suicide Overnight

A man committed suicide late Thursday night after barricading himself inside his Germantown home and making threats, police said.

A 911 call came in around 8:30 p.m. about a possibly armed man inside his home in the 12300 block of Silvergate Way, Montgomery County Police said.

He was barricaded inside his home and making threats, Fox5 reported.

When officers went inside, they found he had “taken his own life,” police later said at 11:45.
