12 Adults Injured After Deck Collapses In Glen Burnie: Firefighters
Firefighters said a dozen patients in Glen Burnie were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, firefighters said.
GLEN BURNIE, MD — Twelve adults were injured after a deck they were standing on collapsed over the weekend, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
Firefighters said the deck collapse happened at a single-family home on Roesler Avenue in Glen Burnie just before midnight Saturday.
"Several AACoFD Fire Crews, including our special operations, collapse rescue teams, responded to a report of 20x30 deck that had collapsed with several adults on the deck at the time of the collapse. Crews arrived and began stabilizing the scene while triaging patients," the fire department said in a news release.

Firefighters said a dozen patients were transported to local hospitals.
Officials said of the 12 adults injured, five of them suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while seven had non-life-threatening injuries.

Firefighters said the cause of the collapse is unknown and has been turned over to the insurance company.
