GBIA Seeking Carter Award Nominations

It's time again to make your nominations for the Richard H. Carter Memorial Award. The award honors an outstanding Glen Burnie area volunteer.

The award was established in 1991 by the Glen Burnie Improvement Association, said Barbara Sabur, chairwomand for the Carter Award Committee.

Mr. Carter was a dedicated volunteer who spent most of his life in service to others. His contributions not only made a positive impact on our community, but his humble and unselfish concern for others continues to serve as an example for volunteers to follow.
