State Delegate Nic Kipke (R-Pasadena) offers an opportunity for residents to dispose of worn American flags. Bring flags to in Pasadena on June 13 between 5 and 7 p.m. Delegate Kipke will present flags to the American Legion Post 277 on Flag Day (June 14) when they will hold a ceremony to burn the flags.
If you are unable to attend the event, but would still like to properly dispose of your flag, you may drop it off to the American Legion, Post 277 located at 7376 Carbide Road in Riviera Beach. To contact the American Legion, call 410-360-0880.
