- The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will host a public workshop next week. Participants will learn more from Superintendent George Arlotto and school system staff about the Brightspace learning management system. (Press Release Desk)
- Students were charged Thursday for bringing toy guns to school in two separate incidents. The first incident happened at North County High School when a student shot a teacher with a “gel blaster” type toy gun. That same day at MacArthur Middle School, a 13-year-old student was caught with an air-soft pellet gun. Both students were charged accordingly before being released to guardians. (Newsbreak)
- AACPL Glen Burnie branch thanks Miss Kristina and Miss Ruth for their great job in leading the Read Across America Story-Palooza last Saturday! Stories were read, music played, and skits performed. Keep up with a great job! (AACPL)
- Next Day Floors will be hosting an Art Show in Glen Burnie. The exhibit will be presented by Maryland Artists on April 2 from 5-8 p.m. and again on April 3 from noon- 4 p.m. It will be an opportunity to not only view the work but meet artists and talk about their art practices as well. - Students from Anne Arundel School District shared the Grand Award at the 54th annual Anne Arundel County Regional Science and Engineering Expo on Tuesday night. "Along with the Grand Award, each student earned the right to represent Anne Arundel County Public Schools at the International Science and Engineering Fair (Regeron ISEF), which will be held in Atlanta in May."
