Here are the top stories in Glen Burnie today:

  1. The temperatures this weekend will be very high! Precautions need to be taken to maintain good health. If you do not have air conditioning in your home, click on the link to see what cooling centers are open in Baltimore. (WBAL TV Baltimore)
  2. Three men were arrested in Brooklyn Park Thursday, July 21. A homeowner came home around 12:30 p.m. only to discover two men that she did not know asleep in her home. She quickly left and called the police. Once on the scene, the police found another man asleep. They were arrested for attempted burglary. (Fox Baltimore)
  3. Didlake and Company of Glen Burnie was robbed this past weekend. Over $10,000 in lawn equipment were stolen from the locked storage shed. Please contact the police if you have any information about this theft. (Shore News Network)
  4. More that 500,000 mail-in ballots need to be counted after the July 19 election. The counting, which could determine winners in some of the biggest remaining races, could not begin until 10 a.m. July 20. (WBAL TV Baltimore)
