The driver fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended by the officer. The driver was found to be under the influence of marijuana and alcohol. The officer located a loaded Polymer 80 Glock style “ghost gun” handgun with no serial number on the driver’s side floorboard of the vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly. (Anne Arundel County)
- Glen Burnie Library: On Monday, Oct. 18, Glen Burnie Public Library will host a Outdoor Music and Movement at 11 a.m., for preschoolers (0-5). When a child dances, they learn about how their body can move and they use different muscles than simply standing and walking around does, which strengthens them. Through dance, children learn to coordinate and control their bodies and the movement helps them develop spatial awareness. (Anne Arundel Library)
