Here are the top stories in Glen Burnie today:
- Vision Technologies headquarters sold their building to Faropoint. The purchase cost $10 million for this fully renovated building. A large portion of the building already has tenants to lease. (Commercial Observer)
- Cameron Goins, 30, of Glen Burnie has been arrested in connection to a "controlled dangerous substance" being in his apartment. Police were at his apartment to serve a warrant when they saw a firearm and marijuana plants. They were able to obtain a search warrant and then made the arrest. (Shore News Network)
- Extreme heat has hit Maryland. The last several days temperatures have been in the mid-90's. Most of Maryland could see temperatures rise close to 100 degrees this weekend. (WBFF)
- The American Food Mart and gas station in Glen Burnie was the scene of an attempted burglary. The suspect entered the store demanding tobacco products when the victim recognized him as a suspect of another store robbery and denied service. The suspect threatened the employee but then fled the scene. (Shore News Network)
