- Another sheriff's office employee has been arrested. Friday, July 15, a 39-year-old sergeant was arrested on assault and robbery charges in two domestic violence cases involving another employee of the agency. He has been suspended without pay while the investigation is underway. (WNAV)
- "A jury found Brandon Hardy, 26, of Annapolis guilty of 13 charges including two counts of second degree assault against Anne Arundel County Police Officers Saifedlin Hussain and James Yee, as well as a litany of felony drug charges for possession with intent to distribute controlled dangerous substances."
