Glen Burnie Homicide Investigation: The Anne Arundel County Police Department has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a Glen Burnie homicide two years ago. Officers found Andre Lee Garrett, being treated for wounds behind a business in the 300 block of Hospital Drive, on Oct. 30, 2019. Anne Arundel County Launches Damage Assessment Portal: Emergency Management has opened the damage assessment portal, which is a tool for gathering data on the damages caused by the severe weather event that resulted in coastal flooding from Thursday, Oct, 28 through Sunday, Oct,31, 2021. Glen Burnie School District: The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will meet next on Nov, 3, 2021, at which time it will hold a second reading of a new policy on the administration of medical cannabis.
