- A firefighter was injured while battling a fire in Glen Burnie. The fire broke out at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27 at Sunset and Glenlea Drives. Flames were shooting out of the windows, there was one person inside of the house who escaped without injuries. One of the firefighters had a minor injury and was taken to the Bayview Burn Center as a precaution. (w2marnews)
- Glen Burnie Volunteer Fire Company membership released a condolence note to the Hagedorn Family on the passing of life member William "Bill" Hagedorn. Bill was a life member of the Glen Burnie Volunteer Fire Dept. and he belonged to the Glen Burnie Elks Lodge. (Facebook)
- Anne Arundel County Public Library's next Board of Trustees meeting will be held on March, 17 at 4 p.m. (AACPL)

- Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident Sunday in the 13200 block of Penn Shop Road in Green Valley. Around 11 a.m., officers responded to the area for a shooting report. When deputies arrived, they asked anyone inside to come out. A female individual did so willingly. (w2marnews)
- Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a body found near a funeral home Sunday.
According to police, officers responded to the 1400 block of Ritchie Highway near the Gonce Funeral Home. When officers arrived, they found a deceased adult with signs of trauma and possible gunshot wounds. (w2marnews)
