William McDonald, 41, was found guilty of first-degree felony murder, two counts of armed robbery and multiple firearms charges in the shooting death of Benjamin Curtis, according to the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office. - Headlines Urges Residents to Take Precautionary to Coastal Flooding: As coastal flooding continues in Anne Arundel County , we urge residents to weigh the current conditions they are experiencing and what is anticipated over the next 10 to 12 hours. Our coastal communities and those in surrounding low-lying areas have already begun experiencing moderate to substantial coastal flooding which has affected road accessibility. - Teacher Charged With Sexual Abuse: An Anne Arundel County Grand Jury has indicted the former Annapolis High School teacher who was arrested and charged in connection with the sex abuse of one of her 17-year old male student. On July 6, 2021, the Anne Arundel County Police and the Department of Social Services were notified in reference to a possible sex offense involving a school teacher at Annapolis High School and a student.
