  1. Parents and students protested against the mask mandate in schools on Friday morning in Anne Arundel County. The mandate expired on Jan. 31 in schools but students are still required to wear a face covering. The Maryland State Board of Education plans to discuss the future of its mask mandate at its Feb. 22 meeting. (WBAL)
  2. A woman was attacked with pepper spray in Glen Burnie on Feb.8. According to the police the victim was walking in the 6400 block of union Court in Glen Burnie when a suspect approached her demanding her purse, sprayed her, and flee from the scene.
