Police Arrest 2 in Early Tuesday Burglary

Two men were charged with first- and fourth-degree burglary in the case.

Two men were arrested early Tuesday in a Glen Burnie burglary, according to police.

Anne Arundel County officers responded at around 12:11 a.m. to the 1700 block of Lansing Road for a reported burglary in progress. The resident told police he awoke to his dog barking and saw two men in his home, according to police.

The men ran away, and police and a police helicopter responded. One man was quickly arrested. The other man was seen running nearby and arrested shortly after. Both were charged with first-degree burglary and fourth-degree burglary of a dwelling.

Howard Eugene Stevens, 29, of the 7900 block of Cross Creek Drive was freed on $75,000 bail. Delano Green, 21, of the 200 block of Ashbury Land in Odenton, remains held on $75,000 bail, according to online court records.
