1. A Glen Burnie woman won $101,340 on the Racetrax virtual horse racing lottery game. She collected her winning on July 28. This is her third lottery jackpot in six years. (UPI News)
2. Jacqueline Darlene Gardiner, 44, of Crownsville was arrested Wednesday, July 27. Gardiner was driving a stolen rental car when she caused an accident in Calvert County. The accident then caused a chain reaction crash. (News Break)
3. Two teenagers were charged with having a firearm and marijuana in their car. The police saw the gun and marijuana after they were stopped for a routine traffic stop. They were arrested and charged accordingly. (Shore News Network)
4. Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman is requesting the school start times not be changed this year. The new fall 2022 school year schedule as of now, is the elementary schools begin between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.; middle schools to between 8:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.; and high schools to 8:30 a.m. (WTOP)
