- This time of the year is all about giving back to those in need. On Friday, the Anne Arundel County Food Bank got some help from Live! Casino and Hotel. Live! donated 300 turkeys to the food bank, which will go to the food bank's office in Crownsville where they will then be distributed to families. - Visitors of Anne Arundel County libraries can check out a book and grab a coronavirus rapid test kit, it's currently the only library system in the state that is giving out the test kits. County Executive Steuart Pittman said in a statement that while vaccinations increase, "providing free and easy access at the community level will help us slow the spread of COVID-19 as winter approaches."
