  1. Anne Arundel County Public School. Board to consider adjustments to 20021-2022 School Year Calendar. The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will consider a pair of adjustments to the current school year calendar and conduct its first review of proposed 2022-2023 School Year calendars at its next meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 17.   2. Restaurant Sponsoring Wreaths For The Fallen. Mission BBQ is once again holding a fundraising campaign to help honor the fallen. The restaurant company has kicked off its American Heroes Cup campaign in support of Wreaths Across America. According to a release, funds raised by this year's campaign will sponsor wreaths that will be placed on the graves of fallen service members during National Wreaths Across America Day in 2022. Through the end of 2021, the restaurant will donate $2 to WAA for every American Heroes Cup purchased at any of its locations. (CBS19 News)

  4. Court Puts Maryland Oyster Restoration Project On Hold. Acting on a lawsuit filed by the elected commissioners of Somerset County, a Circuit Court judge issued a temporary restraining order Nov. 9 prohibiting the Department of Natural Resources from going ahead with reef construction in the Manokin, which flows into Tangier Sound below Deal Island. The project had been expected to begin in a matter of weeks. (The Chesapeake Bay Journal)
