A t-storm around in the p.m. High: 96 Low: 77.

Here are the top stories today in Glen Burnie:

1. Marcs Court in Annapolis was the scene of a shooting on Wednesday, Aug. 3. Around 1 a.m. police were called for reports of gun shots. A 17 year old was found with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was air lifted to shock trauma in critical condition. (The Bay Net)
2. The bodies of Elias Isai Sandoval Pimentel and his son were recovered from the Potomac River. While boating with his family, the victim's children began struggling in the water. One of the children was pulled to safety, but the father and his 10-year-old son went under and did not come back up. The victim and his family are from Virginia. (News Break)
3. A heat advisory is in effect for today. Temperatures will be in the mid 90s with a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. Some areas in Maryland could see temperatures rising to 100 degrees. If you cannot be in an air-conditioned area, be sure to try to stay in the shade and drink plenty of fluids. (WJZ13)
