Here are the top stories today in Glen Burnie:

  1. The Severn area reported two separate reports of shots fired this past Friday, Aug. 5. Around noon the area of Meade Village Road and Meade Village Circle where several vehicles and buildings were hit. Then around 7:30 p.m. Stewarton Court reported shots fired where a home and car where hit. No injuries were reported for either incident. (WNAV)
  2. A home on Roesler Ave in Glen Burnie was the scene of a deck collapse. Twelve adults were injured, none of those injuries are considered non-life-threatening. This incident happened on Saturday, Aug. 6 just before midnight. Cause of the collapse is unknown. (Glen Burnie Patch)
  3. Retired K-9 has passed away. K-9 Kinder was an Accelerant Detection dog. Kinder retired in June 2014 and was 14 at the time of passing on July 28. (News Break)
  4. At about 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4 the police pulled over a suspected stolen car. The stolen car was seen on Nursery Road in Linthicum. The car was searched and suspected marijuana, oxycodone pills and capsules of suspected heroin were found. The suspects have been arrested. (Shore News Network)
