Teen Arrested For Robbing 2 Suspects In Glen Burnie: Police

Police arrested a 16-year-old man for allegedly robbing two people in Glen Burnie Tuesday afternoon. A second suspect is still at large.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Police arrested a 16-year-old man for allegedly robbing two people in Glen Burnie Tuesday afternoon. A second suspect is still at large, police said.

At about 4:18 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Southbridge Dr. for the report of a robbery. A 17-year-old male and 16-year-old female told police they were approached by two men who asked them for a ride. The victims agreed and drove the suspects to Southbridge Drive.

When the suspects exited the vehicle, one suspect allegedly said he had a weapon in his waistband and demanded a cell phone and money from the victims. The victims complied and the suspects fled on foot, police said.

Several officers responded to canvass the area and located one of the suspects. Demico Henderson, 16, of Glen Burnie was charged with robbery. Henderson was charged as an adult, police said. The second suspect is described by police as an unknown male.
