- Baltimore City Police are working to get to the bottom of who murdered 13-year-old Maliyah Turner Thursday night, taking her away from a family that loved her dearly. Richard Williams said he has so many questions for BPD detectives investigating the death of his granddaughter. A total of $13,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the murderer. (W2MARNEWS)
- A nonprofit organization in Carroll County is getting into the holiday spirit while helping the community. The Shepherd's Staff is kicking off its annual Festival of Trees this weekend, where you'll have the chance to bid on a variety of beautifully decorated trees, to help support local families in need. The event, which is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, takes place at Johns Street Quarters in Westminster. (WMARNEWS)

- A Glen Burnie man has entered an Alford plea after being arrested in connection with the rape of a woman that reportedly occurred on Ritchie Highway earlier this year. On Nov. 16, an Anne Arundel County Circuit Court judge accepted the plea made by Aaron Anthony Cepeda, to three out of the 14 offenses he was charged with: second degree rape, second degree assault and perverted practice. The remaining counts are likely to be dropped after the sentencing hearing, which is scheduled for March 29, 2022. (NewsBreak)
