  1. A Glen Burnie resident had a lucky lottery card game. The player claimed a jackpot of $10,000 after playing his lucky numbers on Saturday at the Mobil gas station at 7200 Ritchie Highway. (Patch)
  2. The Anne Arundel County Board of Education voted to lift the mask mandate in county school facilities and make it optional. Masks will officially become optional on Feb. 18. The
    Maryland Department of Health and the Maryland State Department of Education confirmed the county had hit the appropriate conditions to lift the mandate, but some precautions will remain. (Newsbreak)
  3. Save the date for Glen Burnie High School Craft Fair. Come out on March 19 at 8 a.m. to support the students at this community event. The school is located at 7550 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Glen Burnie. (StayHappening)
  4. Shots were reported at Phirne Road and Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. The incident was reported on Feb. 16, police arrived in the area and two suspects were seen fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. (Twitter)
