Man Arrested for Trying to Use Car as Weapon
The Lanham man reportedly tried to slam his car into his wife's car on Greenbelt Road while she was fleeing from him.

A Lanham man is now under arrest after police said he tried ramming his vehicle into his wife's car while she was driving along Greenbelt Road on Tuesday, according to the Prince George's Sheriff's office.
Anthony Posey was arrested Wednesday on charges of first and second degree assault, the warrant stated.
Police reported that Posey was arguing with his estranged wife on Tuesday in the 7500 block of Mission Dr. in Lanham. After the dispute, police said Posey attempted to slam his car into her vehicle as she was driving westbound on Greenbelt Road.

He realized she was heading to the Greenbelt Police station and fled the scene, the warrant stated.
Deputies found Posey Wednesday in the 10800 block of Hanna St. in Beltsville, where he was taken into custody without incident.
