Children Inside Car Stolen From Laurel BP Gas Station

A car thief stole a vehicle parked at the gas pumps at the BP station in Laurel, but two children still were in the vehicle.

LAUREL, MD — A man parked his car at the gas pumps at the BP in the 13700 block of Baltimore Avenue and walked inside to pay, leaving two young children in the car. A stranger got into the vehicle and drove off with the children still in the car.

Prince George's County Police said the car thief dumped the vehicle a block away and the children were found unharmed. The incident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
