Man Fatally Shot In Laurel On Tuesday Night
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 12000 block of Silverbirch Lane, Prince George's County police said.
LAUREL, MD — A man is dead following a shooting in Laurel on Tuesday night, authorities said.
According to Prince George's County police, the shooting happened around 9 p.m. in the 12000 block of Silverbirch Lane. When officers arrived, they found 58-year-old Jerome Stocks of Laurel outside the residence suffering from gunshot wounds.
Stocks was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Investigators are working to determine a motive and identify possible suspects.
