Police Search for Missing Laurel Man With 'Reason to Harm Himself'

Authorities said William Claude Winfrey III may also have access to firearms.

Police are searching for a missing Laurel resident who family members believe may have reason to harm himself.

William Claude Winfrey III, 40, was last seen on March 21 at his home in the 13700 block of Virginia Manor Road in Laurel, according to Prince George's County police.

Authorities said Winfrey, who suffers from diabetes, may also have access to firearms.

Winfrey is described as a 5-foot, 8-inch white male weighing 250 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Winfrey's whereabouts is asked to call Prince George’s County Police at 301-937-0910.
