Several Pets Perish In Laurel House Fire: Official
Numerous cats and dogs were rescued from a Laurel home that was on fire. Not all of the animals survived.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A fire broke out in the basement of a single-family home in Laurel late Tuesday morning. According to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, numerous dogs and cats were removed from the home.
However, according to department PIO Pete Piringer, not all of the animals survived.
No injuries to residents or firefighters were reported. Firefighters from both Montgomery and Prince George's counties were on the scene.
