Arundel Band Performs Well at National Championships
The band finished 15th out of 24 bands at the tournament held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The Arundel High marching band and color guard followed up a state championship with a solid showing Saturday at the USBands National Championships in New Jersey.
The band had the chance to perform at MetLife Stadium—home of the NFL's New York Giants and New York Jets—and finished 15th out of 24 bands in its division.Â
Performing its original show based on the theme of "time," the band recorded a score of 91.325, less than five points off the winning tally.

The Arundel band, led by music director Ian Burns, entered the national competition after winning a state championship in its group at Towson University on Nov. 3. (Check out this YouTube video of the state championship performance.)
